The Institute for Abkhaz Language and Culture of Sokhumi State University has acquired a joint program of COBERM for the project "Research of Identity of Abkhazians living in Adjara" Project Director is Director of Abkhaz Language and Culture Institute Prof. T. Gvantseladze. Manana Tabidze, Junior Sophiko Chavaava and Tamar Gitolendia, Eliko Bendeliani, student self-government and Tamar Abashidze, Tinatin Bukhnikashvili, Gvantsa Giguashvili and Magda Natadze students of Abkhazian language and literature.

The project will be implemented from February 1 to July 31, 2011 in Tbilisi and Adjara. In the villages of Khelvachauri region of Batumi: Feria, Angisa, Adlia, Urekhi, Salibauri, Lower Sameba.
