Final conference of DARE Project was Held at Masaryk
University
On 8-11 October 2018, EU program
Erasmus + funded project DARE's final conference was held at the University of
Masaryk (Czechoslovakia), Czech Republic. In 2015-2018 Sokhumi State University
was involved in the DARE project implementation. The project envisaged
development of mechanisms of promotion of higher education for students from
socially vulnerable groups: national minorities, people from conflict regions
and people with special educational needs.
Project beneficiaries were:
Israel, Georgia and EU countries. Israel: University of Haifa (Project
Coordinator); Gordon Academic College of Education, AHAVA Academic College and
Sapphire Academic College; from Georgia: Ilia State University, Sokhumi State
University, Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili State University, Zugdidi Shota Meskhia
State University; from European countries: European Education Access Network
(Great Britain), University of Murcia (Spain), Alexandru Ioan Cuza University (Romania),
Kaunas University (Lithuania), Masaryk University (Czech Republic).
